But what about forgiveness?

(NOTE: I feel almost like I should apologize for blogging so much within the past two days, but I am not going to because I really need to get these out before I lose them.)

A photograph I took from the back of the mini-van while Mom was driving us to a Red Barn Harvest Party. 😀

And so the blog actually begins–

I’ve been blogging a lot lately about community, and why it matters so much, because it has really been on my mind this year. I have always been community oriented, but things in my life are changing and making me that much more aware of the world around me. I have talked about fear, love, change, anger, mistakes, and vulnerability relating to community but I have been asking myself “What about forgiveness?”

“I could NEVER, ever, no way, no how, no matter HOW much they plead, forgive them for what they did to me/my family/this country/my shirt/that animal/etc.”
I will do my best to forgive them, after all, I have made mistakes in my life as well.”

Forgiveness is vital to moving past struggles in a community. Forgiveness is what has to happen when lines are crossed, whether there is an apology or not. A lack of forgiveness builds up anger, prejudice, and loneliness in a persons heart.

That being said, I have some forgiving to do.

Happy Adventures,

I’m Tweeting (Yikes!)

  • So, I started going by my middle name in college because I've always liked it better. Now I'm Renée, and can be tweeted at "teafaellana." 3 years ago
  • I keep reading fanfics to tide me over until #OUaT is back. I can't wait to see more character development of Regina! #EvilRegals 4 years ago
  • This has somehow been the best and worst Thanksgiving I've ever had, all at once. 4 years ago

Smile about what you are thankful for, and never forget you are a dreamer.

I am a girl on a mission, and the mission I am on is to be myself. I am an undiscovered treasure, and here I am giving you a key that will allow you a little further into the labyrinth of who I am.

Heather loves hats that are designed to look like cute animals, fairy wings, cheese pizza, swimming in ponds, roller blading, taking silly self-portraits, learning, spending time with people, and just about everything else too. Heather does not love ... well, there isn't a lot that she doesn't love. You can probably figure it out after a little while!
