m25m: One Man’s Trash is Another Man’s Treasure

Yesterday I was given an amazing opportunity to tour the warehouse of Matthew 25: Ministries. My heart was so touched, so moved, by the incredible things that this ministry has accomplished. These people are so helpful and caring, and so dedicated to really helping the people who need our help. I highly suggest that you watch this video and find out more. Visit their website; http://m25.webfeat.net/Default.aspx.

I am sitting here asking myself how I can help. I really feel led to do something more than what I have been doing. I have so much excess in my life, and there is so much that I could give- if I would just take the time to clean my room and sort through all of my stuff that I don’t use anymore. Old clothing, old shoes, old toys, or just anything that another person could use. I feel overwhelmed even today, because I take so much for granted. Even in some of the hardest days of my life I have shoes on my feet, clothes to wear, food to eat, and plenty to share. Yeah, I might have to downgrade from a smart phone to a “standard” phone, but I am lucky I even have a phone! Sure, money is tight as a college student and part-time worker, but I am so blessed to have a job and be able to attend college.

I could be doing so much more.

Happy Adventures,

Smile about what you are thankful for, and never forget you are a dreamer.

I am a girl on a mission, and the mission I am on is to be myself. I am an undiscovered treasure, and here I am giving you a key that will allow you a little further into the labyrinth of who I am.

Heather loves hats that are designed to look like cute animals, fairy wings, cheese pizza, swimming in ponds, roller blading, taking silly self-portraits, learning, spending time with people, and just about everything else too. Heather does not love ... well, there isn't a lot that she doesn't love. You can probably figure it out after a little while!
