Girl Inspired

Imagine with me, for a little while. Imagine a world full of inspired people all inspiring each other. Inspiration is one of my favorite things. Sometimes inspiration sneaks in when you aren’t looking and takes you by surprise, dragging you along until it’s mission is complete. Other times inspiration is like an old friend you have known but you have not seen for a while. Inspiration leads to motivation. Imagine a world full of motivated people. People who are happy to be doing what they are doing. People that are happy to be alive. Inspiration is a very powerful thing.

I want to inspire people. I don’t want to inspire people to do just anything, however. I want to inspire people to be inspirational. I want to inspire people to inspire each other. Sometimes all it takes to inspire your neighbor is to smile, wave, or ask them how they’ve been. Sometimes you can paint them a picture, write them a letter, or stick a “Wonderful!” sticker on their shirt (with permission of course). Other times you don’t even have to do anything for another person, rather you can do something for yourself. How many times have you been inspired by the girl brave enough to wear fairy wings in public? How many times has the man who goes for a job every morning/evening rain or shine given you an extra boost of inspiration to try something? Surely they do these things for themselves.

Without even realizing it these people are inspiring others. How? By doing what makes them happy. So I say, “Do what makes you happy, and get inspirational!”

You do not have to set out to help everyone in the world (unless that is what you want to do) just to spread inspiration. Do what you love, and don’t be afraid to show others what it is that you love to do.

I personally love to paint, send encouraging notes, hug people, take pictures, smile, wear fairy wings, sing, make music, dance, write, draw, laugh, and bake. I am always surprised whenever somebody tells me that I have inspired them, because I genuinely do what I love to do. I love loving what I do. I am not brave enough to sing publicly yet, but one day I will be and maybe I will inspire someone. Maybe I won’t, but even if my singing isn’t the greatest someone could be inspired by my personal journey to overcome a fear.

Be Yourselves,

I’m Tweeting (Yikes!)

  • So, I started going by my middle name in college because I've always liked it better. Now I'm Renée, and can be tweeted at "teafaellana." 3 years ago
  • I keep reading fanfics to tide me over until #OUaT is back. I can't wait to see more character development of Regina! #EvilRegals 4 years ago
  • This has somehow been the best and worst Thanksgiving I've ever had, all at once. 4 years ago

The Blogger

Smile about what you are thankful for, and never forget you are a dreamer.

I am a girl on a mission, and the mission I am on is to be myself. I am an undiscovered treasure, and here I am giving you a key that will allow you a little further into the labyrinth of who I am.

Heather loves hats that are designed to look like cute animals, fairy wings, cheese pizza, swimming in ponds, roller blading, taking silly self-portraits, learning, spending time with people, and just about everything else too. Heather does not love ... well, there isn't a lot that she doesn't love. You can probably figure it out after a little while!
