Hannah (A Watercolor Portrait)

I am so proud of myself! Tonight I just felt like painting a portrait, and I had this photograph of my cousin that I took earlier this year accessible so I decided to paint her. I see now that I still have some more work to do, some areas of the nose aren’t shaded quite right– still though, it looks like her! People who know her, but didn’t see the photo I was referencing even immediately thought it was her. I love painting people, and I don’t think that will ever go away. Original portrait below:

Well done! How long have you been painting for? I am a graphic designer and will always enjoy the creative minds in the world.

Well, since Winter quarter, 2011. 😀 Basically the beginning of this year. I’ve been drawing with a mechanical pencil for years though!

I’m Tweeting (Yikes!)

  • So, I started going by my middle name in college because I've always liked it better. Now I'm Renée, and can be tweeted at "teafaellana." 4 years ago
  • I keep reading fanfics to tide me over until #OUaT is back. I can't wait to see more character development of Regina! #EvilRegals 5 years ago
  • This has somehow been the best and worst Thanksgiving I've ever had, all at once. 5 years ago

Heather loves hats that are designed to look like cute animals, fairy wings, cheese pizza, swimming in ponds, roller blading, taking silly self-portraits, learning, spending time with people, and just about everything else too. Heather does not love ... well, there isn't a lot that she doesn't love. You can probably figure it out after a little while!
