There’s a Path We Take and a Path Not Taken

There is more to life than what you’re living,
So take a chance and face the wind,
And open road and a road that’s hidden,
A brand new life around the bend,

There were times, I lost a dream or two,
Found the trail, and at the end was you,

There’s a path we take, and a path not taken,
The choice is up to you my friend,
The nights are long but you might awaken,
To a brand new life, brand new life, a brand new life around the bend.

This show, in all of it’s ’80s glory, will forever hold a place in my heart. The theme song literally makes any physical pain lessen, emotional pain begin to dissipate, and lowers my heart rate when it is too high. All that aside, there is a really wonderful meaning hidden behind this little jingle that many would listen to without noting it.

“There is more to life than what you’re living, so take a chance and face the wind,” is a constant reminder to get out there and see! To get out there and do! To be! To try!

“There’s a path we take, and a path not taken, the choice is up to you my friend,” tells us that it is up to us. We have the choice! The ability to stay or go, and even what we’re going or staying for.

This is one of the many positive messages that people will take for granted on a regular basis. Open your eyes, your ears, and your heart. Encouragement and inspiration are all around you!

Happy Adventures,

I’m Tweeting (Yikes!)

  • So, I started going by my middle name in college because I've always liked it better. Now I'm Renée, and can be tweeted at "teafaellana." 3 years ago
  • I keep reading fanfics to tide me over until #OUaT is back. I can't wait to see more character development of Regina! #EvilRegals 4 years ago
  • This has somehow been the best and worst Thanksgiving I've ever had, all at once. 4 years ago

Smile about what you are thankful for, and never forget you are a dreamer.

I am a girl on a mission, and the mission I am on is to be myself. I am an undiscovered treasure, and here I am giving you a key that will allow you a little further into the labyrinth of who I am.

Heather loves hats that are designed to look like cute animals, fairy wings, cheese pizza, swimming in ponds, roller blading, taking silly self-portraits, learning, spending time with people, and just about everything else too. Heather does not love ... well, there isn't a lot that she doesn't love. You can probably figure it out after a little while!
